Moab is world-famous for its mountain biking trails. There are mountain biking trails all around Moab that range from easy to expert. There are trails that take only an hour to ride and trails that take all day to ride. Here are some of our favorite mountain bike trails around Moab. The Navajo Rocks trail is a 17-mile loop that is great for warming up and perfect for intermediate to advanced riders. Captain Ahab is only a 2 mile trail, but is very technical and is for advanced riders looking for a technical trail. Mag 7 trail is a 21 mile point-to-point trail that is a classic Moab descent trail for those bikers looking for a downhill trail.

Hiking trails near Moab are as numerous as rock formations around Moab. Adventure seekers could spend weeks hiking trails around Moab and not hike every trail in the area. The best place to start is Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Arches is an epic national park that has some of the most amazing arches and rock formations in the world. Delicate Arch is one of the most famous arches in the United States and is a moderate hike that is great for families. Canyonlands also has some amazing hikes to arches and beautiful red rock canyons. Mesa Arch is a short hike in Canyonlands National Park and is great for families with children.

In the warm summer months, the Colorado River on the north-end of Moab is a great outdoor adventure in Moab. Rafting companies in Moab can provide rafts and guides to raft the Colorado River for a half or full day. Families can enjoy the beautiful Colorado River Canyon and cool down while rafting in the canyon during the warm summer months.

Jeeping and OHV trails are abundant around Moab. Here are a few of our favorite jeep trails that are great for families to enjoy while they are in Moab. Shafer Trail is an 18-mile trail that has incredible views of the Colorado River. Gemini Bridges Trail is a 14-mile trail that has amazing views and overlooks. Onion Creek and Fisher Towers trail is a 20 mile trail that has great red rock formations and scenery for visitors to enjoy.
