Hiking in Arches and Canyonlands National Park is a great way to spend time with your family and to see some of the beautiful arches and red rock formations that make Moab world-famous. There are many different hikes in both Arches and Canyonlands and families can choose a hike that fits their children’s ages and abilities. Families should spend some time at the visitor center to explore the different hikes and options in the park and decide what fits their schedule and abilities. Families will enjoy spending the day together seeing iconic arches and beautiful red rock formations and making memories that will last a lifetime.
Mountain biking is a great outdoor recreation activity for groups and Moab has some of the most well-known mountain biking trails in the United States. Groups staying at Slick Rock Lodge in Moab will have easy access to the famous Slick Rock mountain bike trail and other great mountain biking trails around Moab.
Groups staying in Moab will want to spend some time exploring the back roads and jeep trails that wind around Moab. Many of these dirt roads and jeep trails wind through spectacular canyons near Canyonlands National Park and will offer visitors some of the most spectacular views of red rock canyons in southern Utah. There are also some amazing jeep trails just up the road from Slick Rock Lodge. One of the most famous is a trail called Hell’s Revenge. It is a spectacular jeep trail for jeep, OHV, and motorcycle groups that want to spend a day riding and testing themselves on great obstacles.
