The Colorado River runs through the north side of town and gives groups the opportunity to raft, kayak, paddleboard, and play on the river. The La Sal Mountains are just south of Moab and are a beautiful mountain range to explore and enjoy gorgeous views of the Moab area.
Each evening, the town of Moab has many fun things to do and restaurants to enjoy. The downtown Moab area has rock shops, mountain bike shops, rafting shops, and guide services. All these outdoor shops are fun to go in and explore and talk to experts about the area and about the outdoor recreation. The guide shops are great for those groups that aren’t familiar with the area and need to hire a guide to show them around the trails and canyons near Moab. They are a great resource for newcomers to the area. Restaurants are abundant in the town of Moab, and it is easy to find great food to eat each evening. Whether you are in the mood for American, Mexican, Italian, or just need to grab a quick bite to eat in a drive-through, there are lots of great restaurants in Moab to get a bite to eat.
Moab family groups can enjoy the amazing outdoor recreation around Moab each day they are staying at Slick Rock Lodge.
